                                                        Services of Advent and Christmas
Dec. 10 – Country Christmas – (Come Home for Christmas) at 9:15 AM
This is a simple, home spun country service. It recognizes the humble birth of Jesus
to humble-folk. This reminds that us his birth opened heaven’s doors to foreign-folk,
city-folk, and country-folk too. Blue jeans, plaid shirts and cowboy hats are fine. So
come to church, take your shoes off and sit a spell. Anticipate a visit from Cowboy
Joe and some of his country kin.
Dec. 17 – Sunday School Christmas Program -(The King’s Birthday) at 9:15 AM
The Sunday school department is preparing an inter-generational celebration in honor of our King and Savior, Jesus Christ. Their program includes a remarkable Christmas pageant that will be fun and inspirational. The gift of this program will transform the sanctuary and fill our hearts with delight.
Dec. 24 – Worship on the Morning of Christmas Eve (God makes a Home in this World) at 9:15 AM
God prepares to make a home in this world, so we will call all the world home to worship him. This
service will be family-friendly. Encourage the children to bring a favorite stuffed animal for a special
purpose. The Chancel Choir will help us consider the ways we have prepared to receive the baby
born in Bethlehem.
Community Christmas Brunch at 10:30 AM
All in the community are welcome to this informal, simple Christmas Brunch
that follows worship. The church will provide beverages and egg casserole. Others may bring fruit, muffins, coffee cake or a plate of holiday treats. Let’s enjoy the company of friends and neighbors on this special day. A special invitation is extended to those without holiday plans.

Dec. 24 -Family Christmas Eve Worship (The Light of Love) at 7:00 PM
Then the light of Godly love came into the world to dwell here with us. This is the time to light the candles and worship. For God sent his only son into the world that who so ever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This family-friendly service has been prepared to incorporate scripture, story, music and all the sights and sounds of Christmas. In this way we will fully worship and honor the Messiah.
